Dodgers' Chayce McDermott: Dealt to Dodgers
The Orioles traded McDermott to the Dodgers on Thursday in exchange for minor-league pitcher Axel Perez, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
McDermott was DFA'd by Baltimore on Saturday, but his move to the Dodgers will put him back on a 40-man roster. The 27-year-old has made all five of his appearances at Triple-A this year, where he's given up four earned runs across 5.1 innings while striking out nine batters and walking six. He'll report to Triple-A Oklahoma City to begin his tenure in his new organization.

Dodgers' Andy Pages: Notches third steal
Pages went 2-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.
Pages ended up looking a little more human against the Mets, going 3-for-10 with four strikeouts over the three-game series to start the week. The outfielder is still sporting a stellar .409/.451/.697 slash line across 18 contests this season. He's contributing in all areas with five home runs, 20 RBI, 10 runs scored, three steals on four attempts and four doubles. Pages' average will come down eventually, but he should still be a reliable source of counting stats as part of a powerful offense.

Dodgers' Hyeseong Kim: Launches homer in win
Kim went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.
Kim opened the scoring with his second-inning blast, but he struck out in his three other at-bats. The infielder has fanned eight times in 23 plate appearances this season while drawing four walks. The homer was his first of the year to go with three RBI, four runs scored, a stolen base and a double through eight contests. Kim is batting .278 and should at least be able to maintain a platoon role at shortstop while Mookie Betts (oblique) is on the injured list.

Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Hammers fourth homer
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.
Hernandez's four homers have all come over his last nine games, helping the outfielder shake off a slightly slow start to the year. He's now batting .310 with a .918 OPS, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and a stolen base across 16 games. The 33-year-old outfielder has already received a couple of rest days this season, and the Dodgers' depth on offense will likely lead to that happening semi-regularly, especially once the team gets closer to full health.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Swats second homer
Tucker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.
Tucker has hit safely in seven of his last 10 games but doesn't have a multi-hit effort in that span. He supplied an insurance run with his eighth-inning solo shot Wednesday. For the season, the outfielder is off to a bit of a slow start with a .239/.350/.343 slash line, two homers, 11 RBI, 14 runs scored and three stolen bases over 18 games. He also has a 12:17 BB:K, so he's had little trouble keeping the line moving even with the lack of hitting.

Dodgers' Dalton Rushing: Grand slam, double in win
Rushing went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, a double and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.
Rushing got a rare chance to play since Shohei Ohtani was in the lineup only as a pitcher, opening up the designated-hitter role. As has been the case early this year, Rushing took advantage of his opportunity with a big performance, driving in half of the Dodgers' runs with his eighth-inning slam to turn the game into a blowout. He's played in just five contests so far, but he's gone 9-for-17 (.529) with four homers, eight RBI, seven runs scored and two doubles. Rushing has already matched his homer total from last season, but he still doesn't have a clear path to playing time aside from the occasional start behind the dish when Will Smith needs to rest his legs.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Strikes out 10 in win
Ohtani (2-0) allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out 10 over six innings to earn the win Wednesday over the Mets.
Ohtani didn't hit Wednesday, as he is still dealing with some residual effects of a hit-by-pitch from Monday's game. Whatever issue is there didn't impact his pitching, as he continues be nearly unhittable this season. The lone run against him came on MJ Melendez's ground-rule double in the fifth inning. Across three starts (18 innings), Ohtani has a 0.50 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 18:6 K:BB. His next pitching start is tentatively projected to be at San Francisco next week, but Ohtani should be able to get back into the lineup as a hitter before then.

Dodgers' Blake Snell: Live BP session Wednesday
Snell (shoulder) tossed a live bullpen session Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Snell ended up tossing 31 pitches over two simulated innings and faced Alex Call, Santiago Espinal and Tommy Edman (ankle), per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Snell continues to rehab from left shoulder fatigue that caused him to open the regular season on the 15-day injured list. Wednesday was his second bullpen session of his recovery program, and he'll likely need several more before being cleared to embark on a minor-league rehab assignment. Snell is not expected to make his season debut until at least late May.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Pitching but not batting Wednesday
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Ohtani will start on the mound against the Mets on Wednesday but will not serve as the team's designated hitter, Buster Olney of ESPN reports.
The decision to have Ohtani out of the lineup was tied to when he was hit by a David Peterson pitch during Monday's game against New York, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Ohtani has gone 0-for-7 with one run scored over his last two outings and will have the opportunity to focus solely on pitching during Wednesday's contest. Dalton Rushing will serve as the Dodgers' designated hitter and bat seventh while Kyle Tucker moves up to the leadoff spot.

Dodgers' Edwin Diaz: Passed over for save chance Tuesday
Diaz threw a bullpen session Tuesday but didn't get called upon for a save opportunity in the Dodgers' 2-1 win over the Mets. His status is set to re-evaluated before Wednesday's contest, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Neither the Dodgers nor Diaz have indicated that he's hurt, and manager Dave Roberts said Monday that he expects the reliever to be available during the current series versus New York. However, the team opted to have the veteran closer throw a bullpen session Tuesday, which essentially ruled him out from being able to pitch during the contest later that evening. Diaz has displayed decreased velocity early in the campaign, though he's noted that his velocity has often been down early in previous seasons before eventually ticking back up. The missed opportunity for a save Tuesday is frustrating for fantasy managers who invested heavily in Diaz, but for now, the best course of action seems to be to stick with the reliever with the expectation that he'll get back to closing sooner rather than later.

Dodgers' Alex Vesia: Strikes out side for second save
Vesia struck out all three batters he faced in the ninth inning against the Mets on Tuesday to earn a save.
With the Dodgers up one run heading into the ninth inning, it was Vesia -- rather than Edwin Diaz -- who was summoned to close out the game. Vesia more than lived up to the role, needing just 10 pitches to strike out all three batters he faced. It was the lefty's second save of the campaign, with his other coming in an appearance during which he faced only one batter. Vesia clearly has manager Dave Roberts' trust in high-leverage situations and has yet to give up a run through 7.1 frames spanning eight outings this season. With that said, Diaz is likely to get the vast majority of the Dodgers' save chances over the course of the campaign. Per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Diaz was unavailable Tuesday after throwing a bullpen session during the afternoon.

Dodgers' Yoshinobu Yamamoto: Shines again despite no-decision
Yamamoto allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over 7.2 innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Tuesday.
Yamamoto began his outing by allowing a leadoff homer to Francisco Lindor, but he then retired the next 20 batters who stepped up to the plate against him. The spell was broken with a Bo Bichette double in the seventh inning, and four of the final seven Mets to face Yamamoto reached base, but none scored. Overall, the All-Star hurler got a whopping 23 whiffs while working into the eighth for the first time this season. Yamamoto has recorded a quality start in all four of his appearances on the campaign and has yet to give up more than two runs in any outing. He's cruised to a 2.10 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 21:3 K:BB across his first 25.2 innings in 2026.

Stewart (shoulder) is beginning a rehab assignment with Single-A Ontario on Tuesday.
Tuesday's action will be Stewart's first in a game since his short rehab assignment in September. Seemingly on pace in his recovery as of Tuesday, the right-hander may join the Dodgers' bullpen before the end of the month.

Dodgers' Griff McGarry: Traded to Dodgers
The Dodgers acquired McGarry from the Phillies on Tuesday in exchange for international bonus pool money.
McGarry was returned to the Phillies after failing to make the Nationals' roster as a Rule 5 pick, and he's now on the move again. The 26-year-old has a big arm but has really struggled with command and control, having posted a career walk rate of 15.9 percent. The Dodgers will try to coax more out of him.

Dodgers' Charles Davalan: Raking for Great Lakes
Davalan is slashing .276/.400/.586 with two home runs, one steal, an 11.4 percent walk rate and an 8.6 percent strikeout rate in eight games for High-A Great Lakes.
Davalan was given as aggressive an assignment as any college hitter from last year's draft, and he's handled it with ease thus far. His batted-ball profile is exquisite, as he has a 26.9 percent groundball rate while using the whole field (34.6 Pull%, 30.8 Oppo%), and he is making contact at a 94.2 percent clip. The Dodgers have an outfield logjam in the minors, and while Davalan has past experience at second base, the team is committed to developing him as an outfielder, so his ascent through the minors may be slower than his development warrants.

Pages went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a 4-0 win against the Mets on Monday.
Pages provided the bulk of the Dodgers' scoring with his three-run blast off Mets starter David Peterson in the third inning. The long ball was his fifth of the campaign, tied for seventh-most in the majors. That's just a small glimpse of how good he has been to begin the campaign; Pages also leads MLB in RBI (20) and batting average (.417) and ranks third in OPS (1.186).
